Also, they are able to work on creating words and math skills. They are also able to work on spatial relations with the Tangrams. Scribble Bots These allow students to create a machine that uses cups, markers, tape, batteries and wires in order to make the robot move and draw on paper. It helps students understand how to create a circuit and understand how to create an actual robot using everyday supplies. Little Bits Kits These kits are used to create a variety of circuits that snap together and you are only bound by your imagination. Students can create circuits that snap together and make vehicles, buzzers, moving parts, etc. in order to understand circuits and how different circuits change colors of lights, sounds, etc. 3D Printer The robo printer can be used to create spare parts for anything that breaks in the makerspace. Allows students to create new inventions, draw and create a product. Solve a problem by creating a new part. The possibilities are endless and there are more and more things that can be created with a 3D printer. Snap Circuits This allows students to learn about wind energy, sound, lights, and motion by creating circuits that allow for creativity in how the circuits are put together and allow students to learn how circuits interact. Claymation Students are able to create stop motion animation videos using clay, legos, or anything they have to create a video to explain their thinking, solve a problem or just be a creative storyteller. |
